Are there any adjustments for complex or large projects, and political situations in countries that may impact construction.

Yes. The book contains several indexes that address these areas.

A Complex Projects Index for each location, a number between 0 and 100 signifying the relative capability of the workforce in the location to independently execute a complex construction project.  The higher the Complex Projects Index, the more capable the workforce is in the location to execute a complex construction project on their own.  It the number is below 60, you may need to consider adding direct field construction labor from a nearby location (or another state. province, or country) with a higher Complex Projects Index value. If there is no data, insufficient data, or contradictory data for the location, then an “NA” is displayed.

A Large Projects Index for each location, a number between 0 and 100 signifying the relative capability of the workforce in the location to independently execute a large construction project.  The higher the Index, the more capable the workforce is in the location to execute a large construction project on their own.  It the number is below 50, you may want to consider adding direct field construction labor from a nearby location (or another state. province, or country) with a higher Large Projects Index value. If there is no data, insufficient data, or contradictory data for the location, then an “NA” is displayed.

A Political Unrest Index for each location, a number between 0 and 100, with the lower the number the higher the level of political unrest.  The index measures the widespread dissatisfaction of the population of the country with the current government.  Widespread protests, or strikes qualify as a type of political unrest. The government may be at risk of a coup if political unrest is strong enough.

A Business Friendly Index for each location, a number between 0 and 100. Higher numbers indicate better, usually simpler, regulations for businesses and stronger protections of property rights.
